MERGINTE's BTC is a fail-safe interlock and auxiliary throttle control system for fire truck pump operations.  Designed to operate independently of existing controls, the BTC is an ideal solution for either a reliable stationary throttle or a fail-safe backup to the primary pump control system on the truck.

 

The system is specifically tuned for stationary and pump throttle operations and will not interfere with existing controls. The patent pending system is easy to install and even more simple to operate. The system utilizes the vehicle’s brake and throttle pedals to provide safe, smooth and precise control of engine speed for continued operation during demanding situations.
